Until 2003, our Chairman were elected from the Board.  In 2003 we decided to appoint an independent chair with the aim of introducing someone from outside the board who could bring fresh ideas and insights to the organisation. The indpendent chair is appointed for a three year term.  At the helm of ATEC have been:
