YATEC VIC/TAS

The VIC/TAS branch of YATEC is aiming to continue growing our membership as we still have many ATEC member companies who don’t have any of their staff registered as YATEC members. We have a number of educational and social events throughout the year providing great networking and personal development opportunities.

Currently we have 12 YATEC members from VIC/TAS undergoing the National Development Program, which is helping them gain a better understanding of the inbound industry from key industry figures and mentors.

The next event on our calendar is the YATEC Christmas Cruise on 17th December. Details can be found on the website as well as on our Facebook page (if you’re not a friend of VIC/TAS Branch Young ATEC you’re missing out!)

What is Young ATEC?

Young ATEC (YATEC) is made up of ATEC members under the age of 36 who are interested in furthering their careers through networking with other young professionals working in the tourism industry.

In addition to YATEC's regular events, YATEC members also have the opportunity to take part in mentoring programs and other events and programs within their state ATEC branches.

upcoming Young ATEC Branch Events

Young ATEC events are run independently by the Young ATEC Committee in each branch. These events are aimed at those employed in tourism who may be new to the industry, and offer the opportunity to meet industry colleagues in a social or educational environment to learn from experienced senior personnel within the industry.

YATEC events are designed to be fun and innovative for the leaders of tomorrow.
